Getting started is simple— And to make the setup even easier, we’ve included a quick video and simple, step‑by‑step instructions to guide you through the process.
Install/Setup for
(Android)
👉 Step 1: Download the App
- Press or click the blue download button above to download the app provided by Forte IT
- The download will start automatically on your device
⚠️ Step 2: Configure Device Settings (If Needed)
On some Android devices, you may need to adjust settings before installing.- Go to Settings
- Tap Security or Privacy
- Open Install unknown apps or Special app access
- Select your browser or file manager (e.g. Chrome or Files)
- Enable Allow from this source
📲 Step 3: Install the App
- Open the downloaded Forte IT Android App via Splashtop SOS
- Tap Install
- Wait for the installation to complete
🚀 Step 4: Open and Set Up the App
- Open the app once installed
- Allow any permissions it requests, such as screen sharing or remote access
- Follow the simple on-screen setup instructions
🔑 Step 5: Connect to Forte IT Support
- When prompted, enter the 9-digit session code provided by your Forte IT technician
- Follow any remaining prompts to start your support session
Install/Setup for
(Apple iOS)
👉 Step 1: Download the App
- Press or click the blue download button above
- You will be redirected to the Apple App Store
- Tap Get to download and install Splashtop SOS
📲 Step 2: Open Splashtop SOS
- Once the installation is complete, tap Open
- The Splashtop SOS app will launch on your device
🔑 Step 3: Enter the 9-Digit Session Code
- When prompted, enter the 9-digit session code provided by your Forte IT technician
- Tap Start Session or continue as directed
⚠️ Step 4: Allow Permissions
- Follow any on-screen prompts to allow the necessary permissions
- Depending on your iOS version, you may be asked to enable screen sharing so your technician can assist you
🚀 Step 5: Start Your Support Session
- Once connected, your Forte IT technician will guide you through the remaining steps
- Stay connected until your support request has been completed

👉 Step 1: Download the Application
- Click the blue download button above provided by Forte IT
- The application will download to your computer
💻 Step 2: Open the Application
- Open your Downloads folder
- Double-click the downloaded file to launch it
⚠️ If Windows asks whether you want to run the application, click Run or Yes.
🔑 Step 3: Connect to Forte IT Support
- The application will open automatically
- A 9-digit session code may be displayed
- Provide the code to your Forte IT technician when requested
🚀 Step 4: Start Your Support Session
- Follow any prompts that appear on screen
- Allow screen sharing or remote access if requested
- Your Forte IT technician will guide you through the rest of the process
